I work for the Humane Society of Rochester and Monroe County, known locally as <a href="http://www.lollypop.org/" target="_blank">Lollypop Farm</a>. I'm a <a href="http://www.vegan.com/" target="_blank">vegan</a>, because it's irrational to show compassion toward dogs, cats, and other domestic pets but not toward cows, pigs, or chickens. Also, I don't want my animal-protection work to be “un-done” or counter-balanced by any participation in the exploitation of farm animals. Veganism is easier than you might think!
