Hi, my name is Alex Chernavsky.  I'm 42 years old, and I live in Rochester, NY.  I work for the Humane Society of Rochester and Monroe County, known locally as Lollypop Farm.  I'm a vegan, because it's irrational to show compassion toward dogs, cats, and other domestic pets but not toward cows, pigs, or chickens.  Also, I don't want my animal-protection work to be “un-done” or counter-balanced by any participation in the exploitation of farm animals.  Veganism is easier than you might think!  For more information about abolishing animal exploitation, see this website about animal-rights lawyer Gary Francione.
